Not your typical office
Sposto Interactive is located in the former Kutztown Shoe Factory, a 117-year-old building. However, one would never guess this information by looking at the interior. I found this fusing of styles interesting. After taking some photos around the office, I began to notice Sposto’s bright, modern color palette, which is quite a contrast to the old, small-town feel of the building itself.
Timeline:
- 1889: The Kutztown Shoe Factory is built.
- 1979: Shoe Factory goes out of business.
- 1980: Germany-based Adidas buys the factory, its first in the United States.
- 1989: The factory again shuts down.
- 1996: Sposto Interactive starts in Memphis, Tennessee.
- 1999: Sposto comes to Kutztown.
- 2006: Sposto moves into the factory.
