in Graphic Design

Having been a professional graphic designer since 2008, I have a diverse portfolio of creating and directing projects across print and digital media. My imaginative mind and keen eye for detail have amplified the presence of businesses and non-profits, communiating their message with clarity and precision. I currently work in Hauppauge, NY, leading the design department of Atlantic Ultraviolet Corporation since 2023. What follows is a selection of recent work in which I had a primary design role. Many additional projects bear the marks of my conceptual development or creative direction.

Logos & Brand Identity

Atlantic Ultraviolet Corp.

Aside from minor tweaks, Atlantic Ultraviolet Corporation's logo remained the same for almost 60 years. I sought to capture the essence of the original while bringing it into a new era. The custom-altered typeface is similar but wider, for greater readability. The A and U in the lettermark represent the air and water their products disinfect—an idea which was built upon in the tradeshow display.

Redesigning Atlantic Ultraviolet's WordPress site Ultraviolet.com was a huge undertaking. I created a child theme to customize many elements of its parent, while streamlining the content to better fit the site's intended purpose. The site's graphic elements were also repurposed for social media posts.

Atlantic Ultraviolet 60th Anniversary

For Atlantic Ultraviolet Corporation's 60th anniversary, I waded through archives of old photos and documents to produce graphics with a vintage feel for social media, blog posts, and a press release. Emphasis was placed on the longevity of the family-owned business and its humble beginnings.
